F\u00fcr Goldguss-Inlays (Einlagef\u00fcllungen) kommen in der Regel nur hochgoldhaltige Legierungen zum Einsatz. Sie gew\u00e4hrleisten, dass sich die F\u00fcllungsr\u00e4nder gut an den Zahn anschmiegen und so genannte Randspalten vermieden werden. Ob Haltbarkeit, Passgenauigkeit oder Mundvertr\u00e4glichkeit, Gold ist anderen zahn\u00e4rztlichen Werkstoffen \u2013 bis auf seine Farbe \u2013 \u00fcberlegen.
